Situated in the heart of the London Borough of Southwark, 61 Southwark Street is undergoing a large scale structural refurbishment, including a 2 storey extension, to create a brand new contemporary office environment.
Along with the new 5th and 6th floor extensions, the refurbishment has included an infill of the atrium on floors 1 through to 6, the complete re-cladding of the upper floors and a ground floor extension to improve the image of the public realm. This will all be finished with a full Cat A fit out, including new M&E services, to 8 floors and a new reception at 61 Southwark Street.
Working for HB Reavis and alongside Colliers, Tate Hindle, GDM and Davies Maguire the £20million project is due for completion early 2018 following an 80 week programme.
