Our challenge was to convert a former telephone exchange into contemporary office space in the heart of the popular Barbican area.

Under a Design and Build Contract we undertook significant structural alterations to create a superb open plan building with a stylish reception, which incorporated Dinesen wideboard full height panelling, and bright flexible office space.

We replaced dated cladding systems with structural glazing to add to the “Glasshouse theme” and conceptual lighting completed the external visual of the property. The build included new WC's as well as bike storage and shower areas at lower ground level. Lifts were refurbished and a DDA passenger lift installed within a newly formed rear reception area.
