63-66 Coleman Street gets recognition
The recognition of 63–66 Coleman Street at the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers Specification Awards 2026, alongside its shortlist at the Mix Interiors Awards, reflects the level of detail and technical coordination behind the project.
At the Ironmongers Specification Awards, the scheme was recognised within the Commercial & Retail category, with 3V Architectural Hardware Ltd and Emrys Architects named as winners for a specialist design element.
This focused on the replacement of the building’s heritage iron Juliet balcony balustrades, originally deemed unrestorable. Through close collaboration, the team reimagined the feature, ensuring it could be delivered safely, compliantly and in line with the design intent.
Applying our “Knowing Buildings Inside Out” approach, the team led the technical development and delivery of this detail, requiring a high level of craftsmanship to achieve both performance and visual quality.
The circular motif went on to inform a range of internal features, creating a consistent architectural language that connects the building’s heritage with its future use.
This recognition reflects the thought, care and collaboration behind an element that helps define the character of the building.
