Collins appointed to second phase of works at Bloomsbury project

Collins Construction has been appointed to deliver the next phase of refurbishment works at a significant Bloomsbury office building, further strengthening its relationship with the client following the successful completion of earlier stages of the project.

The new phase of works is due for completion in spring 2027 and includes a Cat A fit out to the mezzanine level, refurbishment of WC facilities across multiple floors and the transformation of the building's entrance reception. The appointment follows the delivery of a 20,500 sq. ft heritage refurbishment across three floors, where the team balanced the retention of the building's historic character with the creation of high-quality office accommodation for future occupiers.

Having already completed substantial works within the building, the project team has developed a detailed understanding of the asset, its operational requirements and the challenges associated with working within the existing structure. This knowledge will support the efficient delivery of the next phase and enable works to progress from day one.

The latest appointment continues Collins' involvement in the wider refurbishment programme and reflects the confidence built through previous phases. Upon completion, the works will further enhance the quality and functionality of the building, supporting its long-term future as a workplace destination in the heart of Bloomsbury.
