Gensler Feedback on a £20m Fit Out

Receiving positive feedback from project partners is always rewarding, particularly when it comes from those who have been involved in every stage of delivery.

Following the recent completion of a £20m Cat B fit out for a West End financial occupier, Laura Warholic, Senior Associate at global architecture and design firm Gensler, offered her insight on the partnership and delivery of the project.

"One of the biggest challenges on a high-quality fit-out is balancing design ambition with the commercial realities of delivery. There will always be difficult conversations around programme, value engineering and buildability, but what made our project successful was the collaborative approach throughout."

While those conversations are an inevitable part of any complex fit out, success often depends on how project teams respond to them and maintain focus on the end goal. Speaking about our working relationship, she added:
