Collins is one of 204 organisations to win a Merit in the International Safety Awards 2022, which is entered by organisations from 39 countries worldwide. Now in its 64th year, the International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

Organisations receiving an award are recognised as being leaders in health and safety practice and being committed to raising industry standards.

Tony Turner, SHEQ Director at Collins Construction, said: “Winning an International Safety Award requires organisations to show they are investing in their employees’ health, safety and wellbeing, and making health and safety a core part of their work and inspiring others to do the same.

The award is a fantastic achievement and testament to our team’s focus and hard work to ensure we are always transforming spaces safely. A big thank you to everyone at Collins for their ongoing commitment towards ensuring a safe working environment.”

Tony Turner has also been recognised as a COVID Workplace Champion by RoSPA in recognition of his expertise, passion and unwavering commitment to keeping clients, colleagues and communities safe during the COVID pandemic.
