The team has completed a refurbishment and fit out to Oliver’s Yard on behalf of Derwent London, delivering a modern, high-quality workplace in Old Street, EC1.
Working with our partners, Carmody Groarke Architects, Hale Brown Architects, exigere, Heyne Tillett Steel, Tom Stuart-Smith Studio, Opera, and Cundall, the team has transformed the 7-storey building with a fit out across the courtyard, reception, basement, and fourth floors.
A new reception space now offers an inviting welcome to tenants, with elegant joinery, timber flooring and brass detailing; new end-of-trip facilities, showers and a kitchenette are an enhancement to the basement.
On Level 4, the team delivered a full Cat A fit out alongside a revitalised terrace with new waterproofing, decking and planters.
The courtyard is now a vibrant and green open space, with planting, paving and lighting to create a welcoming focal point for the building. A key technical achievement was the removal and replacement of five Automatic Opening Vents above a live data centre, safely completed with discreet new installations.
With its blend of contemporary design, improved amenities and carefully delivered technical solutions, Oliver’s Yard is now a workplace ready for the future. Positioned at the centre of the city, it offers an inspiring and well-connected environment for tenants.
