Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 18-24 May 2020. The theme this year is kindness.

We all have so much going on in our lives - especially with the current coronavirus pandemic. But if we take the time to be kind to other people, we can reap the emotional dividends. It can really make a difference and especially for people who are vulnerable or struggling. One thing we have learnt is that amid the fear, there is also community, support & hope.

Now is the time to re-imagine a kinder society that better protects our mental health.

We created this video to share kindness at Collins and to inspire others to do the same. One of our core values is ‘Love the work you do – have fun, show kindness and care’, so we wanted to take this opportunity to find out from Collins employees how they have been showing kindness in their everyday lives amid coronavirus.

Kindness could transform our places of work, communities and families. Let's shape a society that tips the balance in favour of good mental health, for all of us, but especially for those who are most vulnerable.
