After 18 months on site, TWENTY Berkeley Square has reached completion, delivering a carefully considered refurbishment that future-proofs this heritage asset while introducing high-quality contemporary workspace in the heart of Mayfair.
Working in partnership with Barr Gazetas, able partners, GDM and Webb Yates Engineers, the Collins team has transformed the 1930s building through a series of structural upgrades and sensitive interventions that respect its architectural character while preparing it for the future. The scheme combines refurbished heritage materials with new elements, creating a cohesive workplace environment while achieving net zero carbon in both upfront and operational terms.
Original balustrades and terrazzo finishes have been carefully retained and restored from ground to eighth floor, seamlessly connecting the building’s heritage with a newly constructed ninth-floor pavilion. This addition opens out onto a landscaped roof terrace offering striking views across Berkeley Square, providing a distinctive outdoor amenity for occupiers.
The project also included the reconfiguration of the reception, basement occupier facilities and a full Cat A refurbishment of the office floors, delivering a high-quality workplace befitting its prestigious Mayfair address.
