Last week a number of our female employees gathered at our Notting Hill Gate site for Women in Construction Week. Collins currently has a total of 159 employees, of which 20% are female. Our females work across a range of roles, from trainee to board level, including accounts, commercial management, bid management, business development, document control, estimating, marketing and administration.
50% of the female employees working for Collins are site based, with 5 of them having flexible agreements in place to support their personal commitments outside of work. We, as a company, recognise the importance of Women in Construction week to highlight the pivotal roles women play within the construction industry and are proud of our improving gender balance within our company.
