Collins has handed over 210 Euston Road, a new 70,000 ft2 office development just a stone’s throw away from Euston Station.

Our client, Wellcome Trust, wanted to transform the 1980’s office building into modern office space whilst increasing the lettable floor area. To achieve this, we constructed a new seventh floor on the existing roof as well as multiple core alterations to streamline the risers. Level seven features full curtain walling to create a stunning roof-level glazed façade.

Six new staircases were installed as well as a feature staircase between the lower ground and ground floor, which now provides newly refurbished retail space as well as the reception area.

Collins then completed the Cat A refurbishment to the nine floors of the building to provide crisp, contemporary office space. This includes maximized ceiling and soffit heights to increase the natural light within the space, finished with oak and light industrial metalwork.

The building now boasts multiple accessible terraces, many with planting specially selected and arranged to create urban greenspaces with exceptional City views.

The Euston Road facade has been renewed with Portland Stone at low level with full height windows and an eye-catching illuminated portal entrance. The remaining facades have new terrace doors and new window glass in recoated frames. The reception area has been refurbished to create an impressive entrance of tartan concrete and stone floor with a feature structural beam reception desk.
