This complex structural refurbishment of an early 1960’s building now provides a contemporary office environment within walking distance of London Bridge.
Works included an extension to the Southwark Street and Great Guilford Street elevations forming a new street level reception and a two storey extension to Keppel Row to form additional office space.
Internally, we carried out the Cat A refurbishment of 98,000 ft² over 9 floors, and externally, created terraces to 3 levels, a complete re-cladding of the upper floors of the building’s tired exterior with curtain wall, and both stone and brick slips GRC’s. Challenges included working around the TFL red route and the existing tenants who remained in occupation throughout.
