One London Wall was designed by Foster & Partners and constructed in 2003 to provide 200,000 ft2 of highly specified office accommodation. Earlier this year, Collins completed the refurbishment to the level four, nine and ten office space within the building.

Upon completion, we were delighted to be appointed to carry out the ground and first floor reception refurbishments. The aim was to upgrade both reception areas whilst minimising disruption to tenants in the fully occupied building. This meant that one reception had to be kept live throughout construction with a detailed programme in place to ensure this.

The ground floor refurbishment included the installation of a new entrance with a structural steel, aluminium and glass portal with integrated signage.

Collins also undertook works to the external glazing and the internal double-height wall, as well as installing bespoke feature lighting with integrated faux planting and illuminated signage.

The first floor reception refurbishment included the installation of a new security barrier system, a new bespoke café island unit, feature wall panelling, new toilets and a new reception desk. We also carried out extensive mechanical and electrical works throughout including lift modifications, feature reveals, a set of new 60/60 fire rated glass doors, new flooring, decoration and signage throughout.
