A £4.6 million refurbishment delivering contemporary workspace within a historic Bloomsbury building.

In this heritage setting in central London, we have transformed two upper floors and the attic level into modern, flexible workspace while restoring key original features. The works combine Cat A refurbishment with structural upgrades, including new plant installations, secondary glazing, and the formation of new WC cores and risers. Careful interventions within the roof space and lightwell enhance both the performance and character of the building.

The scheme provides renewed Cat A floors supported by new mechanical and electrical systems, upgraded glazing, and restored architectural details throughout. Structural works within the attic introduce new primary plant, including AHUs set within newly formed dormers, ensuring the building is prepared for long-term operational performance. Across the floors, reinstated cornices, timber detailing and heritage doors sit alongside new finishes, lighting and services to create bright, contemporary offices designed for future occupants.

The result is a refined, modern workspace that retains the building’s historic character while offering high-quality accommodation in the heart of Bloomsbury.
