Duncan joined Collins in 2002 and has been part of, and contributed to, the growth, development and success of the company. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, Duncan has a wealth of experience and knowledge across a range of project types, from a Cat B fit out to cut and carve refurbishment.
Duncan leads a committed, hardworking team who go the extra mile, at every level, to deliver a successful project. His approach to and management of projects has resulted in repeat business with many clients. He believes in a hands on approach and leads his teams by example.
Gavin has over 20 years experience in the industry; he is well organised and always plans ahead to ensure a smooth & enjoyable approach to projects.
Gavin has an extensive track record of delivering high quality office fit outs and refurbishment projects. He takes an extremely proactive approach, being a strong advocate for ensuring that adequate time is spent covering design, interface and programme to achieve a fully co-ordinated construction process. Gavin is recognised as an effective communicator, with good organisational skills and an excellent approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
Peter has worked within the construction industry for 40 years, specialising in the refurbishment and fit out sector. He joined Collins over 10 years ago and now holds the position of Divisional Director (Fit-Out).
He specialises in Cat A and B fit-out projects, both design and build and refurbishment work, and has been involved with an extensive range of projects and project values, all of which have brought their own unique set of opportunities and challenges.
Peter focuses on building good working relationships with both clients and suppliers and this has enabled him to form a network of long and lasting relationships within the industry.
Anisha has studied and worked in the environmental sector for over 9 years and holds an Undergraduate and Master’s degree in Environmental Consultancy.
After joining Collins in 2018, Anisha has had an active role in delivering more strategic environmental support to the business.
She has developed an extremely strong relationship with all teams, which has aided in implementing and delivering industry leading sustainability standards. In addition to this, the rapport developed with each team has enabled collaborative thinking on each project, helping to investigate bespoke and innovative ideas to push Collins beyond compliance.
Prior to this, Anisha had worked on several multi-million pound construction projects in London, helping achieve FSC project certification and BREEAM.
Jason has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, covering projects from new build and heavy structural refurbishment through to complex Cat A and Cat B fit outs.
Jason joined Collins in 2013 and has been instrumental in developing and growing the reputation of the business. As managing director, Jason will continue to push forward the company's long term goals and ambitions, thereby paving the way for the next generation of leaders.
Jason is a firm believer in building strong, trusting relationships with clients and colleagues to help push the business forward, alongside a team of great people who are proud of the work they do.
Stuart has worked in the fit out industry for 25 years and has held a number of roles including owning and running his own fit out company. His expertise has enabled Stuart to develop a number of strong client relationships in the industry that have contributed to Collins’ success. Stuart continues to lead teams on some of Collins most significant and complex projects, working in partnership with clients to achieve project success.
He has a number of strong client relationships that have contributed to Collins' success and growth, and still heads up projects secured with these clients, such as Land Securities.
Ryan is a dedicated and proficient Project Director with over 10 years’ experience within the industry.
He has extensive commercial knowledge, particularly within the fit out sector, to ensure best value for money is achieved for any given client.
Ryan has a dynamic, hands on approach which sets him apart from the competition. He is a strong believer in collaborative working, from supply chain to end user, allowing for a quality end product.
Mary is a qualified chartered accountant who began her career as an auditor. She has held senior finance positions in the leisure and retail sectors before embarking on a career in the London refurbishment and fit out market in 2006, joining Collins in 2012.
Mary was appointed to the board as Finance Director in 2015. She is responsible primarily for the finances but also oversees HR policies and procedures.
Chris has worked at Collins for over 30 years, where he has been intrinsic in the development of the business from a small, traditional builder with a handful of employees, to a successful and well known business of 160 employees.
He is a firm believer in collaborative working, trust and ‘doing the right thing’ to support the company’s long term ambitions.
This approach is reflected in Collins' reputation in the market, stability and regular ‘preferred contractor’ status with clients and design teams.
Kerry has an extensive background career in nursing, spanning 35 years and covering a variety of specialities, including intensive care, renal, and aviation. She joined Collins in 2017 as the clinical lead, helping to support the design, construction and client team in all healthcare projects.
She holds a NEEBOSH in health and wellbeing for construction, supporting the health and safety team and the business as a whole. She has held senior hospital management positions in both private and NHS in London and the home counties, before changing her career path to construction.
Rob has been working within the construction industry for over 30 years, most recently focusing on Cat A & B office fit out.
Having started his career as a construction trainee, Rob has worked through all project management disciplines. This means he is able to understand and work alongside his team with experience and knowledge, to ensure they are supported to be the best they can be.
Rob believes that honest conversations as early as possible create trust and builds lasting relationships which ensures peace of mind for his clients and consultants.
Jim has over 30 years experience in the industry, with expertise in structural refurbishment, structural modifications and new build on a variety of projects from major airport redevelopments to large structural alterations on commercial properties with Cat A fit outs.
Jim is recognised for his calm leadership when managing large teams on complex projects and and works closely with our client's design teams to ensure their vision is realised.
Galina is a qualified architect and joined Collins as design manager & architectural consultant. She has worked on many commercial and healthcare projects, with special emphasis on diagnostic and treatment facilities. She has gained extensive experience in refurbishing and retrofitting new build developments and listed buildings.
As part of the Collins team, she is responsible for the co-ordination of design work in fit outs, refurbishments and new developments with special emphasis on delivering bespoke design management solutions to meet tight deadlines and high quality of the final product. She also manages project BIM processes.
Having worked in the industry for over 30 years, Mark has gained a wealth of knowledge in refurbishments and fit outs across the UK, but particularly in London. He joined Collins in 2004 and since then has helped develop the business into the industry leading organisation it is today, by inspiring change where necessary and leading in a hands on manner.
Mark has been involved with many of Collins’ repeat customers over the years including WPP Group, Scottish Widows and Kirkland & Ellis. He is known across the industry for his professionalism, leadership and customer focus.
Director of SHEQ
Tony joined Collins in 2006 with a proven track record for developing and maintaining health and safety compliance. He has developed robust company procedures and auditing to ensure Collins meets its legal obligation with current UK legislation.
Tony has a growing reputation within the industry and fellow peers for his pragmatic approach to health and safety which gains buy in at all levels.
He also holds fellow status of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and has a Chartered Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
Tony is a highly motivated customer focused individual who enjoys working with people and is committed to delivering quality performance. With 30 years’ experience within the construction industry, beginning on site as an apprentice carpenter and progressing through to a project Director, Tony brings a knowledgeable, ﬁrst hand wealth of experience to each project he delivers.
Whilst being experienced at working directly with the client at the highest level, he is particularly skilled in management of pre-construction and construction delivery and looks forward to bringing added value to his next project in terms of the service provided. Tony has successfully delivered various prestigious high end projects for many of today’s leading blue-chip and service orientated clients.
With over 26 years’ experience in the construction industry Christian has joined Collins to bring additional leadership, consultant process and his design experience in the Cat A & B fit out market to the pre-construction team.
As Pre-Construction Director, Christian is working alongside Paul Davis to further enhance the pre-construction processes ensuring the production of well developed, diligent and compliant bid submissions, that increasingly take on full design responsibility.
With previous roles providing support to clients through leading a respected MEP consultancy, and having built strong relationships throughout the industry as a trusted advisor, Christian brings this experience and knowledge to Collins to further enhance the client team experience throughout the pre-construction phases.
Having started in the construction industry in 1987, Colin joined the company in 1995 as a site manager while still completing a BSc in Building Surveying, and progressed through the company to his current role as Director.
For the past 7 years Colin has developed and currently manages Collins' Healthcare team.
Colin’s specialism in this field has led to the successful completion of a number of private medical projects, ranging from Oncology facilities, to MRI and CT Suites, Theatres and Intensive Care Units.
Neal joined Collins in April 2011 as a Senior Project Manager, before being promoted to Project Director in 2017. With over 35 years’ experience in the industry, he has worked in a large number of prestigious buildings within London including The Natural History Museum, The Royal Opera House and The Royal Albert Hall. Since joining Collins, Neal has added County Hall to the list after being tasked with moving the London Dungeon from London Bridge to their new home in Westminster.
Additionally, over the course of his career at Collins, Neal has gained a wealth of experience while delivering our larger, more structural and complex projects, many with high end finishes. This, combined with his knowledge of both the co-ordination and installation of the many types of specialist medical rooms construction methods and their various unique equipment requirements, has proven invaluable in his involvement in the healthcare sector. Neal is a hardworking team leader and will always go the extra mile to deliver a successful project.
Having worked in the industry for over 25 years, Karl has gained a huge variety of knowledge in refurbishment, new build, healthcare and the fit out sectors, mainly focused in Central London.
He joined Collins in 2013 and has been a key figure in developing and nurturing our repeat business clients and aids our continuing growth within the industry. Most important to him is identifying and focusing on client expectations and taking them to the next level.
Technical Services Director
Neil joined Collins as a TSM in 2010 and has over 22 years’ experience in the construction industry, in particular the refurbishment and fit out market. Since joining Collins, Neil has established himself as a key member of the team and in that time has developed to Technical Services Director.
As head of the Technical Services department Neil oversees a team of TSM’s, takes an active role in projects and has a personal interest in developing the next generation of Technical Services Managers.
Neil brings an assured and practical approach to every project he is involved in based on his varied knowledge and experience of the industry.
Guy joined Collins as Senior Commercial Manager in 2013, before being promoted to Commercial Director in 2017.
Guy has 25 years of experience in delivering a wide range of projects from Cat A and B fit outs in various market sectors such as finance, leisure and advertising, to complex heavy structural cut and carve refurbishment schemes.
Guy's understanding of the various market sectors allows him to bring added value and support to both the professional team and clients in terms of cost planning, value engineering and build ability.
Guys hands on approach makes him a safe pair of hands and an ideal mentor for the junior commercial staff within the business.
Paul has a fundamental understanding of the build process drawn from over 30 years’ experience in structural Cat A refurbishments, Cat B office fit outs and unusual specialist redevelopments across London and the South East. Joining Collins at the start of 2009, initially leading the delivery of varied and complex, high quality projects, Paul now heads the pre-construction process, directing the proposals team.
Well regarded in the industry, Paul’s professional approach and balance between creativity and systems driven processes has helped Collins secure work with clients such as AXA, Aviva, Blackstone, Crown and Grosvenor Estates, Landsec and Merlin Entertainments. As well as these, many co-working providers such as FORA, TOG, Workspace and multiple and varied Cat B clients.
With over 40 years’ experience in the industry, Gary brings a wide range of expertise in managing delivery teams with an in-depth knowledge of the processes needed to achieve a high quality product across all sectors of the industry. Having worked within all management disciplines and progressed to director level Gary maintains a consistent approach to leading teams and building strong relationships with both his clients and supply chains.
A good communicator and decision maker, Gary’s track record provides evidence of a passionate and driven team player who invests time in ensuring the safe delivery of every project he is involved with. Along with this, Gary provides a robust approach to achieving company objectives in offering a first class service throughout each project journey.
Max joined Collins in 1994 as a Quantity Surveyor. Over this 25 year period he has helped develop the business from a turnover of £2 million to £140 million.
Max is highly experienced and has a track record of advising clients and consultants on their fit out and refurbishment projects with a hands on attitude.
He oversees the constructive strategy of 25 projects per year within central London and the surrounding areas from pre-construction to practical completion.
Having originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, John has been involved in the Construction Industry for over 45 years and has specialised in estimating and pre-construction for the vast majority of that time. He has experience in most forms of construction and procurement routes and has been solely involved in the refurbishment and fit out markets for the last 20 years.
Since joining Collins in 2005, John has been an integral part of our development and growth and remains responsible for the financial aspects of all our tender submissions.
Martin joined Collins in 2010 to provide a dedicated IT function for the business. Bringing 33 years of experience, Martin has championed technological improvements to Collins’ IT infrastructure and systems, safeguarding data, improving working processes and offering effective support to ensure Collins is equipped to successfully deliver every project.
Martin and his team are continually designing and adding functionality to our Bespoke Extranet system, Plexus, which delivers an innovative and much admired online collaboration platform for our business and partners, which delivers a robust management system from Estimating through to Completion of projects.
With technology moving at a rapid pace, Martin is also committed to continually improving and implementing cutting edge Technology and IT strategies for all areas of the business.
